Spicy Hummus

  1. Put chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and cayenne in a food processor.
  2. Process until a thick paste forms.
  3. Add the oil (streaming it in while the food processor is running seems to work best) and continue to add 1 tablespoon of water at a time, until the consistency is smooth and spreadable.
  4. Adjust spiciness by adding more cayenne if you want more heat.
  5. Sprinkle extra cayenne on top for color and spice, feta for a cool contrast, and a drizzle of olive oil to look pretty.
