Spicy Hummus
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Tahini
- 1/2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- Salt To Taste
- 1/4 teaspoons Cayenne, Adding More To Taste
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- Water (as Needed)
- Feta Cheese, For Garnish
- Put chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and cayenne in a food processor.
- Process until a thick paste forms.
- Add the oil (streaming it in while the food processor is running seems to work best) and continue to add 1 tablespoon of water at a time, until the consistency is smooth and spreadable.
- Adjust spiciness by adding more cayenne if you want more heat.
- Sprinkle extra cayenne on top for color and spice, feta for a cool contrast, and a drizzle of olive oil to look pretty.
