Lisa's Crock Pot Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. Cut of tops of bell peppers and clean them out.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except for the seasonings.
  3. (Extra meat mixture can be frozen.
  4. ).
  5. Stuff the peppers and sit them in a crockpot with NO liquid, as the meat will provide the extra liquid.
  6. Sprinkle the herbs, salt and powder over the top of them.
  7. Sometimes I add a fresh basil leaf on top as well.
  8. Low temperature if cooking all day and covered.
