Frozen Memphis Mint Juleps

  1. Pour the bourbon, simple syrup, and ice into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into six glasses, and serve icy-cold with a sprig of mint for garnish.
  4. Pour the water into a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer, add the sugar, and stir until it is completely dissolved.
  6. Add the mint, turn off heat, and cool completely.
  7. Strain before using.
