Easy Roast, Vegetables And Gravy Recipe
- 5-6 pound chuck roast
- 2 Packages brown onion or possibly mushroom gravy mix (or possibly sprinkle with salt, pepper and 4 tbsp. flour)
- 6 potatoes, cut in quarters
- 8 carrots, sliced
- 4 stalks celery, sliced
- Sprinkle meat with gravy mix.
- Wrap in heavy aluminum foil leaving sufficient space for vegetables.
- Place in baking pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 2 hrs.
- Open foil.
- Arrange vegetables around meat and rewrap foil.
- Bake 35 min longer.
- Remove vegetables to platter.
- Your gravy is made and your meat and vegetables are cooked to perfection.
- (If you start with frzn roast add in 30 min to cooking time.)
