Ham-and-Egg Pizza Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.
  2. Butter heavy large baking sheet; sprinkle lightly with cornmeal.
  3. Roll out dough to 12-inch square; cut into 4 squares.
  4. Transfer squares to prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake until golden brown and crusty, about 20 minutes.
  6. Top each dough square with 1 ham slice.
  7. Divide 1 1/2 cups cheese among dough squares.
  8. Return pizzas to oven and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
  9. Meanwhile, heat oil in heavy large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  10. Open 1 egg at a time into pan.
  11. Fry, without turning eggs over, until whites are firm but yolks are still tender.
  12. Top each pizza with fried egg.
  13. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over eggs.
  14. Transfer to plates and serve.
