Acadian Blueberry Grunt Recipe

  1. Combine berries, water, sugar in large saucepan; cover and cook till there is plenty of juice.
  2. Mix flour, baking pwdr, sugar and salt.
  3. Cut in butter and shortening, mixing with a fork.
  4. Add in sufficient lowfat milk to make dough soft.
  5. Drop by Tbsp.
  6. onto warm blueberry sauce.
  7. Cover tightly.
  8. Cook 15 min without peeking.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Yield: 6-8 servings.
