Sausage Bread Squares
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- Brown sausage and onion.
- Drain.
- In a bowl combine sausage mixture with cheese, egg and seasonings.
- Make dough with Bisquick, milk and mayonnaise.
- Divide dough in half.
- Press half of dough in well greased 8-inch square pan.
- Cover with sausage mixture.
- Put remaining half of dough on top.
- Brush with a beaten egg yolk.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Cut into small squares and serve warm.
- Good with breakfast, for a morning coffee or as hors d'oeuvres.
