Slow Ham And Beans Recipe
- 1/2 pound baby Lima beans or possibly Great Northern beans
- 1 c. split peas
- 1 c. barley
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1/2 to 1 pound ham, cubed/diced
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- Water
- Rinse beans, split peas and barley.
- Put all ingredients into crock pot and pour in sufficient water to cover.
- Stir.
- Cook on low setting for 9 to 10 hrs.
- Water may be added as needed, and dish should be stirred once or possibly twice during cooking.
