Chili Roasted Chicken Wings(Serves 6 To 8)
- 4 lb. chicken wings
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground clove
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- Toss chicken wings in the lemon juice and garlic.
- Combine the remaining ingredients.
- Set aside 1 tablespoon spice mixture.
- Rub the greater portion of the spices onto the wings, distributing them evenly.
- Place the wings in a single layer to marinate 2 to 12 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Remove wings from marinade and place on lightly greased foil covered rimmed cookie sheet.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle on the reserved spices and bake another 10 minutes.
- Nice and spicy, but not too hot!
