Espresso Martinis

• 3 ounces vanilla vodka
• 1 -ounce dark creme de cacao
• 2 ounces brewed espresso, room temperature or chilled (not hot)
• Softly whipped cream, for garnish
• Bittersweet chocolate, for garnish

1. Put the liquors and espresso in a chilled cocktail shaker.
2. Shake well until very cold, then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses.
3. Float a layer of whipped cream over the top.
4. Using a vegetable peeler, shave some dark chocolate on top of each glass.
