Texas Style Beef Barbecue Recipe
- 5-6 pound beef brisket
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 sm. onion
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- Trim fat from brisket.
- Poke holes in it and insert small pcs of garlic.
- Mix all sauces together and pour over meat.
- Dice small onion and put over top of meat.
- Wrap meat in heavy tin foil tightly and cook on grill or possibly in oven very slowly (325 degrees) for 5-6 hrs or possibly on grill 5-6 hrs (indirect low heat).
- Serve sliced with sauce on top.
- May increase ingredients in equal portions to have extra sauce.
