My Crisp Chicken Nuggets
- 4 Chicken breasts
- 2 pints of batter made thick
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 pints Veg oil for deep frying
- Add the salt,paprika,and pepper to the flour mix it then add the water, mix until thick and smooth
- Cut up the chicken into bite size pieces or alittle bigger if you prefer
- Heat up the oil to very hot, and test with a tiny bit of the batter, if it bubbles immediatley you can then add the chicken in batter
- On kitchen paper dry off the chicken pieces first then Dip the chicken pieces in the batter and drop into the boiling oil about 5 at a time
- Then when browned put them on kitchen paper to drain off excess oil , about 3 minutes.
- Then when they are all done you can put these away until your ready for them .
- Just pop in the oven 170c/gas 6 for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- You can also instead of salt n pepper add 1 teaspoon of Curry powder or Chilli powder, or jerk seasonings and have different flavour.
