Sherry & Soy Brisket
- 8 oz sherry
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 5 large shallots; rough chop
- 6 sprig thyme
- 4 clove garlic; rough chop
- Combine all ingredients into a casserole dish.
- Cover.
- Bake at 300 for approximately 3 hours or until brisket is tender.
- Uncover during last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Variations; Tamarind, tamari, leeks, caramelized onions, cayenne, crushed pepper flakes, parsely, cilantro, scallions, ginger, lime, pineapple juice, celery, celery seed, worchestershire, paprika, veal stock, sake, Sriracha, plum sauce, brown sugar, dried onion soup mix, dried minced onions
