Andy's Experimental Chili #001 (Sep 2003)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- salt
- ground black pepper
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- celery salt
- 12 medium onion, chopped
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 12 tablespoons new mexico chile powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 3 tablespoons chili powder, normal
- Brown ground beef, add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and celery salt.
- Bring to simmer, and set aside.
- Saute onions in vegetable oil, season with garlic powder.
- Add meat sauce and remaining ingredients.
- Simmer uncovered over med-low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
