Bajan Spice Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  2. Add water and sugar and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain the syrup into a heatproof jar and let cool, then cover and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
