Chippy Bars

  1. Mix first five ingredients and beat until creamy.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Mix baking soda and flour in a separate bowl and spoon this gradually into the rest of the batter.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Stir in the pecans and HALF of the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread in a greased 9x13-inch pan and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes.
