Sensational Salad
- 1 head Chinese cabbage
- 1 bunch green onion
- 2 12 ounces sesame seeds
- 2 14 ounces almonds, sliced
- 2 -3 ounces ramen noodles
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 14 cup rice vinegar
- 12 cup sugar
- 34 cup vegetable oil
- Rinse cabbage, slice and chop onions and cabbage.
- Combine these two ingredients in a large bowl and chill until just prior to serving.
- Break noodles into tiny pieces, while still in the bags, remove seasoning packets (do not use them).
- Saute noodles, sesame seeds, garlic in oil until lightly browned; add salt and pepper.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and oil and boil for no more than 1 minute.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Just before serving, combine everything and toss gently.
- NOTE: You may also add cooked chicken and/or orange slices.
