Creamy Salad
- 2 small head iceberg lettuce
- 2 quarts leaves lettuce or 2 quarts any salad greens
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Break lettuce into bowl.
- Cut bacon into small and fry till crisp.
- Add flour to bacon and drippings and stir over low heat until well blended.
- Add sour cream and other ingredients, stir constantly until a smooth cream sauce.
- Pour over lettuce.
- Mix and serve.
