Brides Bars
- 1 (18 ounce) box cake mix
- 2 large eggs (for chewy bars) or 3 eggs (for cake-like bars)
- 1 (21 ounce) can pie filling
- 12 cup nuts (optional)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, filling and nuts.
- Spread this mixture on a greased jelly-roll pan.
- Bake 30 minutes.
- FROSTING: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake.
- Cut into bars.
