Scented Cinnamon Cutouts

• 1 (4 ounce) can cinnamon, about 1 cup
• 1 tablespoon ground cloves
• 1 tablespoon nutmeg
• 34 cup applesauce
• 2 tablespoons white glue
• ribbon

1. Combine cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, stir in applesauce and glue until combined.
2. Work mixture with hands for 2-3 minutes or until dough is smooth and ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
3. Divide dough into 4 and roll each portion to 1/4 inch thick.
4. Cut dough with desired cookie cutters.
5. With a drinking straw, make a small hole in the top of each ornament.
6. Place cutouts on a wire rack and let dry at room temperature for 3 days, turning over once a day.
7. Insert ribbon through hole and tie a knot.
8. Don't eat.
