Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- salt to taste
- 2 c. tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
- Brown ground beef, add next 6 ingredients.
- Simmer, uncovered, until thick, 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles, drain and rinse in hot water.
- Combine cottage cheese mixture (cottage cheese, parsley flakes, Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs and salt and pepper).
- Place half noodles in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Spread half of cottage cheese mixture over noodles. Add half Mozzarella cheese and then half of the meat mixture. Repeat layers.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
