Banana Sorbet Recipe
- 2/3 c. sugar (caster)
- 2/3 c. water
- 2 x bananas
- 1 c. orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. Lena banana liqueur
- Combine sugar and water in a pan, stir over heat till sugar has dissolved.
- Bring to the boil, cold then chill till cool.
- Blend or possibly process bananas till smooth, add in orange juice, liqueur and sugar syrup.
- Pour mix into a tray or possibly lamington tin and freeze for 3-4 hrs.
- Whisk mix regularly while freezing to ensure a smooth texture.
- The more often you do, the better the finished result will be.
- Serve with kiwifruit coulis.
- Serves 4.
- Serve with fresh fruit salad.
