- 5 sheets Rice paper (large)
- 5 slice Roast ham slices
- 1/2 pack Leafy bouquet lettuce or red leaf lettuce
- 1 Cucumber
- 1/3 Carrot
- 1 Wakame seaweed (dried or salted)
- 1 Your choice of sauce
- Using red-leaf or bouquet lettuce or any kind of leafy greens will be easier to roll up the fillings in the center.
- Baby leaf lettuce also tastes great.
- Julienne the cucumber and carrot.
- Reconstitute the wakame according to the package instructions and wring out the excess moisture.
- Once all of the filling ingredients are ready, roll them up.
- The spring roll skins only need to be slightly wet.
- They softened as the vegetables release moisture.
- Lay out the ham and then place the other vegetables on top.
- Since the ingredients will slide around, use your finger to hold them down as you roll them up in the skins.
- Slice the rolled up raw spring rolls into bite-sized pieces.
- If you will be eating with your hands, cut them in half.
- If you want to eat them in one bite, cut them into quarters.
