Meatloaf with Herb Sauce
- 1 cup tightly packed Italian parsley, divided
- 5 cloves garlic, divided
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground pork
- 1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tuscan Italian Dressing, divided
- 10 fresh sage leaves
- 3 Tbsp. honey, divided
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Chop 1/2 cup parsley and 3 cloves garlic.
- Add to large bowl with next 5 ingredients and 2 Tbsp.
- dressing; mix lightly.
- Shape into oval loaf in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with sage leaves.
- Bake 50 min.
- Brush with 2 Tbsp.
- honey.
- Bake 15 min.
- or meatloaf is done (160 degrees F).
- Remove from oven; cover loosely with foil.
- Let stand 10 min.
- Meanwhile, blend remaining parsley, garlic, dressing and honey in blender until smooth.
- Cook in saucepan on medium heat 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with the sliced meatloaf.
