An Izakaya Standard Stir-fried Squid

  1. Finely slice the green onion.
  2. Clean and slice the squid.
  3. Cut the tentacles into bite sized pieces.
  4. Heat a pan over high heat.
  5. Add butter and stir fry the squid quickly.
  6. Be careful not to cook for too long!
  7. Swirl in the ponzu sauce, mix quickly and transfer to a serving plate while still warm.
  8. Top with green onions, squeeze mayonnaise on top and it's done.
