Breakfast Pie Recipe
- 1 (9-inch) frzn pie shell
- 5 Large eggs
- 2 1/2 c. frzn hash brown potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 drops liquid warm pepper sauce
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Thaw pie shell at room temperature for 20 min.
- Beat Large eggs.
- Add in potatoes, cheese, lowfat milk, onion and seasonings.
- Mix till well combined.
- Pour mix into unbaked pie shell.
- Sprinkle bacon over pie.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 50 min or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean.
