Asian Pear Sorbet
- 1 Asian pear (any variety)
- 3 tsp Granulated sugar (or sugar of your choice)
- 1 tsp Lemon juice (I use bottled lemon juice)
- 2 tbsp Water
- Peel the pear, and cube into pieces several cm thick.
- Add pear, lemon juice, and sugar to the blender, and blend.
- It is fine if there are some chunks left.
- Transfer the mixture (from Step 2) into a zip lock bag, add the water to the mixer and give it a whirl.
- Make sure any remaining bits of pear are also poured into the bag.
- Chill in freezer for about 2 hours.
- After an hour or so, take out the bag and work it a little to break up the chunks.
