Sauerkraut With Potatoes Recipe
- 1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, liquid removed, reserving liquid or possibly fresh sauerkraut, cooked about 40 minutes.
- 6 potatoes, peeled & boiled (can use leftover mashed potatoes & gravy)
- Lowfat milk
- Smoked sausage, precooked
- 3 tbsp. butter
- Gravy
- Mash sauerkraut and potatoes together with some reserved liquids from sauerkraut or possibly with lowfat milk.
- Place in greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Top with sausage links and dot with butter.
- Bake 20 min in 350 degree oven.
- Serve with gravy.
