Microwave Tuna Noodle Casserole Recipe
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. pasta (shell or possibly egg noodles or possibly elbow)
- 1 sm. minced onion
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Dash salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce.) cans tuna, liquid removed
- 1/2 (16 ounce.) pkg. your favorite frzn vegetable, rinsed under warm water to thaw
- Prepare pasta as package directs; drain and set aside.
- In 2 qt casserole, cook onions on High for 3 to 4 min.
- Stir in lowfat sour cream, lowfat milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Add in noodles, tuna and vegetable, toss to mix well.
- Cook, covered on High 8 to 10 min till mix is warm.
- Stir occasionally during cooking.
- Let stand, covered 5 min.
- If desired, sprinkle with cheese flavored cracker crumbs.
- Makes 6 servings.
