Ooey Gooey Popcorn Balls

  1. Combine butter and marshmallows in 8-quart saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add kettle corn; stir until popcorn is coated.
  5. Gently stir in 1 cup chopped peanuts Shape mixture into 20 (2 1/2-inch) balls with buttered hands.
  6. Wrap each ball in waxed paper.
  7. *Substitute salted popcorn.
  8. Variation:
  9. Ooey Gooey Popcorn Bars.
  10. Butter 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
  11. Prepare mixture as directed; press into prepared pan.
  12. Immediately top with an additional 1/2 cup chopped peanuts.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Cut into bars.
  15. 24 bars
