Ooey Gooey Popcorn Balls
- 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 1 (10-ounce) bag large marshmallows
- 1 (7-ounce) bag (14 cups) kettle corn, popped*
- 1 cup chopped dry roasted salted peanuts
- Combine butter and marshmallows in 8-quart saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Add kettle corn; stir until popcorn is coated.
- Gently stir in 1 cup chopped peanuts Shape mixture into 20 (2 1/2-inch) balls with buttered hands.
- Wrap each ball in waxed paper.
- *Substitute salted popcorn.
- Variation:
- Ooey Gooey Popcorn Bars.
- Butter 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
- Prepare mixture as directed; press into prepared pan.
- Immediately top with an additional 1/2 cup chopped peanuts.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into bars.
- 24 bars
