Curry-Flavored Monjayaki (Pan-Fried Batter with Various Ingredients)

  1. Combine the ingredients of dashi stock, Japanese Worcestershire sauce, and flour, and mix.
  2. Roughly chop the cabbage.
  3. Dice the pork into 2 cm cubes.
  4. Grease a griddle, and saute the pork.
  5. Once the pork browns, add the cabbage and continue to saute.
  6. Form a ring with the pork and cabbage.
  7. Gradually add the combined ingredients from Step 1 into the middle of the ring, a little a time.
  8. Once it starts to thicken into a paste, incorporate it into the ring of cabbage and pork, then add more and repeat.
  9. Add the mochi and corn, and stir.
  10. Mix until the mochi melts.
  11. Once the mochi starts to melt, add the cheese and curry powder.
  12. Combine evenly.
  13. It's ready when the cheese melts.
  14. The burned parts are addictive.
  15. Eat it up with a small spatula.
