Wheat, Egg, Milk Free Bread Recipe

  1. Combine and mix flour, baking pwdr and salt in bowl.
  2. Stir in raisins or possibly figs.
  3. Combine soda, hot water, molasses and oil or possibly melted shortening.
  4. Add in liquids to dry ingredients; stir just till dry ingredients are moistened.
  5. Turn into greased loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3).
  6. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees till done, 45 to 50 min.
