Ham Fritters with Creamy Sauce

  1. Combine flour, salt and baking powder; stir in eggs and milk.
  2. Add shortening and mix well.
  3. Stir in ham.
  4. Drop batter by tablespoon into deep oil heated to 375F (190C).
  5. Fry until golden, drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot with sauce.
