Ham Fritters with Creamy Sauce
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening melted
- 1 cup ham chopped, cooked
- Combine flour, salt and baking powder; stir in eggs and milk.
- Add shortening and mix well.
- Stir in ham.
- Drop batter by tablespoon into deep oil heated to 375F (190C).
- Fry until golden, drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sauce.
