Cheap But Delicious Karaage-Style Chicken Nuggets

  1. Chop up the chicken breast finely.
  2. (You can use ground chicken instead.)
  3. Marinate the chopped up chicken in the ingredients.
  4. Chop up the same volume of onions as there is chicken, to about the same fineness.
  5. Mix the chicken and onion with katakuriko just before deep frying.
  6. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the mixture into oil.
  7. If you break one of the nuggets in half it looks like this.
  8. It may be a bit hard to see though.
  9. Serve with salt and lemon, or yuzu and ponzu sauce.
  10. I deep fry the nuggets in 170C or so oil.
