Potato Cheese Bread

  1. Put the ingredients into the bread maker and prepare the dough.
  2. When the first rising is done, divide into 6 pieces, cover with a damp towel, and let rest for 10 minutes.
  3. While you wait, peel the potato and cut into eighths.
  4. Put in a heatproof bowl, lightly wrap with plastic, and microwave until softened.
  5. Once heated, gently pat dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cut the cheese slices into fourths to make 8 pieces.
  7. When the 10 minutes are up, roll out the dough and wrap up a slice of cheese and piece of potato in each piece of dough.
  8. Close the gaps well and let rise (second rising) at 40C for 35 minutes.
  9. When the second rising is finished, brush the egg over the top and use kitchen scissors to cut a deep cross on the top of the dough balls.
  10. Top with mayonnaise and parsley to taste.
  11. Bake in an oven heated to 180C for 15~20 minutes and enjoy!
