Daniela's Quince and Cranberry Compote

  1. In a heavy bottomed saucepan, combine juice, sugar, and cinnamon stick.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  3. Add quince and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Add cranberries.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook 20 more minutes.
  6. Discard cinnamon stick.
  7. Remove from heat and cool completely.
