Fruit Baked in Wine

  1. Place fruit of choice in a baking dish.
  2. Combine all the other ingredients in saucepan,stir and heat but do not boil.
  3. Pour over the fruit.
  4. Bake covered in 350 degree oven until fruit is tender when tested with a fork.
  5. Baste fruit every 10 minutes.
  6. Remove cinnamon stick and cloves.
  7. Serve warm.
  8. (can also be used as a topping).
