Oven BBQ Steak
- 3 pounds Round Steak, Cut 3/4" Thick
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 13 cups Vinegar
- 1/2 cups Water
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Prepared Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 18 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- Cut steak into 10 fairly equal portions.
- Heat oil in skillet, and brown each piece of steak on both sides.
- Put steaks in a 9x13 dish, set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a pan and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour sauce over the steaks in the dish.
- Cover, and bake for 2 hours at 300 degrees, until meat is fork-tender.
