Tangy Crock Pot BBQ
- 14 ounces French onion soup
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- cayenne pepper, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- bay leaf
- 1 -2 cup vegetable stock or 1 -2 cup water
- Combine all ingredients in the crock pot, stir with a whisk.
- Use the hot water to rinse the molasses off of the measuring cup.
- Add the protein of your choice.
- Cook for the appropriate amount of time, spoon the sauce over the top occasionally.
