An Appetizing Side Dish Parboiled Spinach with Sesame Oil
- 1 bag Spinach
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 packet Bonito flakes (optional)
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 tsp Mentsuyu
- Rinse and chop spinach into bite-sized pieces, then parboil in boiling water with a pinch of salt.
- Drain and rinse with cold water, then thoroughly squeeze out excess water.
- In a bowl, combine the spinach, bonito flakes, a dash of salt (or 1 teaspoon men-tsuyu), and sesame oil, then toss evenly.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve!
