Healthy Natto Okonomiyaki

  1. Julienne the cabbage.
  2. Break 2 eggs into a bowl and add the milk.
  3. Combine together.
  4. Add the cabbage, natto, and dashi stock to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  5. Place the other egg into a small bowl and beat.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Pour in the batter from step 2.
  8. Flatten the mixture into a pancake.
  9. Pour the egg from step 3 on top of the cabbage pancake.
  10. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the edges turn brown.
  11. Turn the pancake over and cook.
  12. Serve the cooked pancake onto a plate and garnish with mayonnaise and bonito flakes.
  13. Note: You can also make several small pancakes and garnish with a variety of flavours.
  14. I recommend this.
  15. Try topping it with ketchup and cheese, and sprinkle on some black pepper.
  16. So good!!
  17. Tabasco sauce is also great too!
