Isis' Pasta Aglio, Olio E Peperoncino

  1. Divide the broccoli into florets.
  2. Divide each floret into 4 pieces.
  3. The stems are not used, so freeze and use for something else.
  4. Slice the garlic, and de-seed the red chili pepper.
  5. Cut the bacon into 5 mm pieces.
  6. Saute the garlic and chili pepper over low-medium heat in oil until fragrant.
  7. Boil the pasta in the meantime.
  8. When the pan is fragrant, add the bacon, turn the heat up to high and saute well.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Just before the pasta is done, add the broccoli.
  11. Drain.
  12. Return the pasta to the pot it was boiled in, add the contents of the frying pan, mix, and it's done!!!
  13. Sprinkle with grated cheese to taste and enjoy!
