Fried and Stewed Spicy Konnyaku!

  1. Add slits into the middle of the konnyaku for the flavor to penetrate.
  2. Cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Put step 1 in a pan and pour water to cover and boil it for three minutes when the water starts to boil.
  4. Then drain the hot water with a sieve.
  5. Use the same pan to make step 2, pour sesame oil, and fry the drained konnyaku until it bubbles.
  6. Add the ingredients in order.
  7. Cover the pan after adding the chopped red chili peppers and turn heat to medium high.
  8. Dish is ready when the liquid evaporates.
  9. Check the pan and liquid and stir whenever necessary.
