Beef In Foil Recipe
- 1 or possibly 2 pound beef chuck roast
- 2 med. potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 rib celery, sliced
- 1 can Tomato Bisque soup
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- Line cookie sheet with large piece of heavy duty foil.
- Place meat in center of foil and surround with vegetables.
- Sprinkle with dry soup mix; mix tomato soup, wine and water and pour over meat.
- Seal well.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees and cook for 2 hrs.
- Lower heat to 300 degrees and cook another hour.
