Pecan Maple Pie Recipe
- 4 Large eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1 c. maple syrup
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9" pie shell, chilled
- 1.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- 2.
- With a rotary beater, beat together the Large eggs, sugar, salt, butter and syrup.
- Fold in the pecans and pour into the pie shell.
- 3.
- Bake 15 min.
- Reduce the oven heat to 350 degrees and bake 25 min longer, or possibly till the filling is set and the pastry is browned.
- Serve cool or possibly slightly hot.
- Yield: 6 servings.
