Terrific Taters

• 5 -6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
• 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
• 1 -2 garlic clove, minced
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 (1 ounce) packagedry ranch dressing mix
• 1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• pepper
• 3 pieces bacon, fried, drained and crumbled

1. Boil the potatoes until tender and drain.
2. Put the potatoes with onion and garlic in a bowl.
3. Combine sour cream, salad dressing mix and a little pepper.
4. Toss with potato mixture til well coated being careful not to smash the potatoes.
5. Put the potato mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
6. Sprinkle cheese on top.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
8. Sprinkle the top with bacon and serve.
9. Enjoy!
