Perry's Turkey Wings
- 12 Turkey Wings
- 3 tbsp Hot Sauce
- 1 Salt and Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Paprika, for sprinkling
- 1 Seasoned Salt, for sprinkling
- 2 White Onions, sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
- 2 Green Bell Peppers, seeded and sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
- 2 lemons, sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Wash and clean the turkey wings by rinsing them under cold running water and then rubbing them with the lemon slices.
- Pat the wings dry and divide them between two roasting pans.
- Generously sprinkle the wings with salt, pepper, paprika and seasoned salt.
- ( To make it easier, mix them together as if you were making a dry rub)
- Evenly distribute the onions and peppers between the roasting pans.
- Fill each pan with 4 cups of water and cover tightly with foil.
- Transfer the roasting pans to the oven and cook for 3 hours.
- Uncover and cook for 1 hour more, or until wings are well browned and tender.
- Serve with hot sauce.
