Beef Tacos Recipe
- 12 fully cooked taco shells
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 1/2 c. natural sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
- Taco sauce, as desired
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1 c. minced tomatoes
- Heat taco shells as directed on package.
- Brown beef and onion in frying pan.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce and chili pwdr.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Cook uncovered 10 to 15 min stirring occasionally till mix is dry and crumbly.
- Fill heated taco shells with approximately 2 Tbsp.
- meat mix.
- Mix tomatoes, lettuce and cheese.
- Spoon about 2 Tbsp.
- over beef in taco shells.
- Drizzle with taco sauce as desired.
