Scones
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 2 compressed yeast cakes (with a little bit of warm water)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- flour, sifted
- oil
- In a large bowl, wisk buttermilk, eggs, and margarine.
- Add yeast cakes.
- In a small bowl, combine salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar.
- Add enough flour until dough is easy to handle.
- Raise 2 hours.
- Roll out 1/4" think.
- Cut and deep fry in oil.
