Steve's Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Remove membrane from ribs by making light cut down middle of underside and pulling membrane away.
  4. Sometimes using a paper towel makes it easier to grasp the membrane.
  5. Cut rack of ribs in half for easier handling.
  6. Mix spices and sugar together.
  7. Rub generously all over ribs, front and back.
  8. Lay meat side down on baking sheet, cover ribs with more foil.
  9. Baked for 3 hours.
  10. Mix 2 cups BBQ sauce with liquid smoke.
  11. Baste ribs with BBQ sauce, turn over and baste again.
  12. Broil on high for 5 minutes or longer if desired.
  13. Be sure to broil meat side up.
  14. You can also transfer to grill instead of broiling if you desire.
  15. Cut up ribs and enjoy with side of BBQ sauce!
